BEAR TRACKS 2022 - 2023
Edition – Preseason 1
Date of Issue: October 5, 2022
1. Wrestlers are ranked per established criteria. Ranking will change as head to head matches occur, wrestlers change weight classes and when a wrestler enters into action.
2. For preseason edition 1, only wrestlers that made it to the state tournament blood round or placed will be ranked.
3. Remaining state tournament qualifiers will be ranked in edition 2 and 3.

4 Bryan Cameron
5 Helm East Fairmont
6 Wagstaff St. Mary’s

AAA 285
1 Martin Huntington
2 Summers Bridgeport

Ours will be giving up a good bit of size at 215. Not sure what their roster looks like, or if he thinks 215 is “easier” but 190 is perfect for him.
I can see maybe why Brothers moved down. Kehler is a stud. But moving down doesn’t help him if Wright wrestles 190. Interesting stuff.

Word on the street is Brothers might being going HWT

On the OVAC website Shaggy has Brothers listed at the 215 weight class and it is implied that he received his weight class info from the high school coaches themselves. If Brothers does move, then I'm guessing 285 is the easiest route for him. I don't see him beating Kehler at 215. However, I believe Bearhugger has implied that he thinks 190 might be the plan (maybe Brothers has renewed dedication to the sport, taking a line from a poster on the college site ;) ). Particularly since Bearhugger doesn't have him listed at either 215 or 285. Time will tell.

Bear Tracks Preseason has been under construction and has Brothers at 215.
