Intercepted Memo from Bear Tracks Headquarters

Postby Bearhugger » Sat Feb 19, 2022 9:53 pm

We just concluded an emergency meeting at Bear Tracks to discuss the potential damage that Pill 2 is going to do the WV State Wrestling tournament.

Upon initial review, there could be a new state record set for potential semifinal match ups between #1 and #2.

Whatever the "plan" was two years ago that did not get implemented last season due to the Covid season, we are lobbying for the Coaches' Committee, the Hall of Fame, the WVSSAC and Coach Bill Archer to consider, key word......consider, doing an emergency Zoom Meeting and review the match ups in relation to the Coaches' rankings.

If we can postpone the state wrestling tournament and 3 weight classes due to a skin disease, we can draw pill 1 or pill 3 for the MANY weight classes where #1 and #2 are on the same side.

Use the coaches' rankings posted BEFORE the regional tournament.

May the Wrestling Force be with you.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Your putting way too much faith in those rankings… even when we ALL have discussed weight class rankings often don’t match what we have seen on the mat. We saw an unranked kid beat #1 and #2 “Ranked” kids in his weight class this weekend in a single region. Regional Championships have to matter.

1. LOL

2. If you are talking about R4 220, that kid was ranked on Bear Tracks.

3. Lets not focus on one isolated event and ignore the majority. The focusing on isolated events is what allows disasters to continue.

Agree, it was only an example but definitely not isolated. :D
