According to my sources, there has only been 1 year in which the OVAC tournament has been affected by weather and all that happened was the Thursday night matches were moved to Friday. As for individual school attendance, that remains to be seen if each school district will allow their students to compete.

Life goes on even when it snows. Kids need to be taught that.

The matches need to go on. Make it happen.

Insure the kids know what yellow snow is and that they do not eat it.

In the mid-90's, maybe 1995, the OVAC had to be stopped and continued the next weekend due to flooding in the civic center.

1. Put on a coat when it is cold.
2. Don't put your wrestling gear on the nasty men's room floor.
3. Lift weights. Strength is never a weakness. Being weak is never a strength.
4. Never eat yellow snow.

This is a good place to start. More to come.

I took your previous comment in a different way than you intended. I thought you were asking about the rules of "life", not policies. I am not feeling very tough now because I do not know if these events are going to be cancelled or not.

My question is what are we teaching our kids if we take obstacles out of their way they are learning experiences to drive through snow to Huntington for WSAZ. The exposure to elements makes them stronger not weaker.
