Wrestlers going to the big tournaments
Is there a rule about taking a wrestler to tournaments such as Powerade? Does it count against the team weigh ins? Does it count against a wrestlers weigh in?
Re: Wrestlers going to the big tournaments
You can only do this if his/her team isn’t wrestling anywhere. If the team is scheduled and wrestling at a different venue, then I don’t think you can participate. Not sure, but you may also need or want a letter for the coach or AD stating you have permission to participate in the event.

Re: Wrestlers going to the big tournaments
I have had to deal with this rule for far too long. It is not ready and everyone assumes it says one thing and not something else. The Principals who authored it don't even know it exists.
