Late to the party but good showing by the WV boys and girls at Super 32. Was hoping to see a better showing by our A/AA boys but I think football, ACT testing, and "lifting" kept a lot of good wrestlers home. The time and dedication by the wrestlers going to the tournament is a sign of great things to come in the Mountain State.
NCAA brought back the old rule allowing high school wrestlers to participate in college opens. The WVU Open was fun to watch back in the day. Wish they would have brought this back a year earlier some of the Indy boys might have made some noise from last years team. Most of murderers row would be too light for the college 125 class but I think they would do well if they try it this year. Not sure if South boys are going to any college opens? Speaking of Indy last year and South this year College needs to add a 220 because otherwise boys like Adams and Amos would be giving up a lot of weight at these college opens.
