2018 Beckley Newspaper Invitational, 1/27/18

Shady Spring High School will be hosting the 2018 Beckley Newspaper Invitational on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Shady Spring High School Gymnasium. Weigh-ins will be from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, the seeding meeting from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and wrestling will begin at 9:00 AM. Rosters including records, career records, previous state and regional placements, and head to head results will be due Tuesday 1/23/18 by 9:00PM for pre-seeding. JV will be permitted at no charge if there are openings.Only short breaks to allow the officials and coaches to eat will be taken.
The entry fee is $175.00 with a check required at weigh in made payable to: Shady Spring High School Wrestling. This will be a double elimination 16 wrestler bracket format. A hospitality room will be provided and concessions will also be available.
Trophies will be awarded for: Individual First, Second, and Third and First and Second Place Team.
