My off season project is to restore Regional Histories to WVMAT. This week, I am concentrating on Region 4 AAA (The Region formerly known as "Three"). Most of my info is coming from what we already established with the State Tournament History. I am sure there is plenty of mistakes as I transpose the info, so I need help on any errors you come across. You can send corrections as comments to this thread or send them to my email at brentsams@yahoo.com.
Thanks - Brent

Re: Throwback Thursday - Region 4 AAA History (Work in Progress)
Please double check 1980 at the 105 lbs weight class. Troy Walden of Stonewall Jackson was an undefeated state champion that year. He would have had to won the region in order to accomplish this. Thanks
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

It looks like I crossed up Point Pleasant, South Charleston and Stonewall Jackson in different regions. I had Troy in Region 3. There are probably other years where I made similar mistakes. Does this look correct for 1980?
