Gone In 44 Seconds

Postby Bearhugger » Tue Feb 21, 2017 3:10 am

One of my colleagues made an interesting observation worth sharing.

In AAA region 2, there was a weight class where all of its matches lasted a combined 4 minutes and 24 seconds.

First round:
Forfeit
46 second pin.

Semifinals:
39 second pin
59 second pin

Consolation:
20 second pin
Forfeit

3rd Place:
51 second pin

Finals:
49 second pin

Six matches actually wrestled. Total time of all six was 4 minutes, 24 seconds.

Average match time was 44 seconds.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Probably someone out of state at the Musselman Duals. I saw this article discussing results. I'm going on the assumption he only lost one match there and not two as the coach is quoted as saying.
