Regionals if they were to change

Just curious what this forum thinks, not sure if it does any good but what's folks opinion on having 2 regions and/or 3 regions?

I truly believe this would be a step in right direction to get most talented wrestlers at states year in and year out.

I think we all know there is problem with this considering school consolidations, low number of fans and wrestlers more than past years.

Really like to get the coaches opinions, but I think if you say this gives powerhouses an advantage is not a good reason, that's why they are powerhouses they've won it under the present system.

Think about the schools that only qualify a few wrestlers, they may too make some noise with this 2 or 3 region alignments.

I like the north region / south region idea with a 16 man bracket.
Seed the regions using
Head to head competition
Previous state placement
Precious region placement
Most recent rankings
Gators and bearhugger gut feelings.

As for the state
N1 vs S8
And so fourth

But a must change is changing the weigh inn value of a duel meet.

Or you could keep current system and move regions up a week or states back a week and in the middle add a last chance qualifier take top three from every region and then the top four from the last chance qualifier filling in the last four spots in the state tourn
