Well, Google webmaster tools tells me that "Google systems have tested 1,240 pages from your site and found that 100% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 1,230 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users."
The problems listed are "Viewport not configured," "Small font size," "Touch elements too close," "Content not sized to viewport," and "Flash usage."
We have thousands of pages on this site, and I don't think I will try to re-do all of them.
I did cook up a "start Page" of sorts which does address these issues. It is at
http://www.wvmat.com/mobileindex9.htm
I looked at the usage stats on my server and included links to the most commonly viewed pages, roughly in order of popularity.
I did bring up this page on my android, and did the "add shortcut to home screen" thingy, and it does now show up on my home screen, and it does kind of work. I don't know what it would do on an iPhone or ipad.
I don't know if this qualifies as an app, but there it is.
I'd be interested if any readers find this useful, and am open to suggestions.
