I have been following.
He took true 2nd in freestyle and first in Greco so he will compete in both at the O trials. His ear looked bad. Great job.

To add, Braxton wrestled 9 matches in two days. Whatever his strength and CONDITIONING program is currently, I know of a Division 1 school that needs to adopt it.

https://www.wtap.com/2021/03/31/former- ... ic-trials/I think that he's the 5th WV wrestler to participate in the Olympic Trials:
Leland Merrill (Freestyle) 1948** Won Olympic Bronze Medal
Ken Chertow (Freestyle) 1988** Won Trials and Competed in the Olympics
Pat Sole (Freestyle) 1980** Runner Up/First Alternate At Trials
Troy Owens (Greco Roman) 1988
Braxton Amos (Freestyle & Greco) 2020 (2021)
If I missed someone please correct me.

Has he been training at the RTC in WI? Did he practice with the team this year or has he been concentrating on freestyle and greco mostly?

Making the finals of the Olympic trials right out of high school is the most incredible WV wrestling accomplishment I’ve seen in a long, long time. Wow.

Whereas all other wrestlers at the LCQ and the trials only entered one style, they probably only trained their one style.
I am taking upon myself that Braxton had split his training time between both freestyle and greco?
