2016 Class AA/A 126lb State Champion Logan Robertson from Greenbrier West won the 133lb. NCWA National Championship tonight in Allen, TX. Robertson wrestles for Liberty University and has competed in the NAIA National Championships for WVU Tech.

Congrats to the young man.

If he wrestles for Liberty then how did he compete for WVU tech? I’m lost. Is college like HS if your school doesn’t offer the sport then you can play that sport at another school?

Logan "redshirted" a year when he started college at Marshall. Then he figured out how much he missed wrestling, and transferred and wrestled for three years at WVUTech as an undergrad. After he graduated he went to Liberty U. for grad school to get his master's degree. He had one year of eligibility left, which would have been last year, except last year ended up not counting due to covid, so he had a year left for this season.
