Petersburg Rises Up!

I think one of the best stories that has not been mentioned in the AA race was Petersburg's 3rd place finish. On January 12th, they were not even on the ranking radar and was never ranked higher than 7th. They ended up a solid 3rd behind champion Indy and East Fairmont.

Congratulations to coaches Weatherholt and Geary at Petersburg and their wrestlers on a great state tournament in Huntington!

Just thought they deserved some credit as overachievers and getting the job done.

I agree Gator. I knew how great Secrist was but I was very impressed with Jackson Moomow. He slipped under the radar and was a force. Congratulations guys.

I liked what I saw of them at the Grafton duals tournament. Very well coached team. And this is coming from an outside observer and the only team we lost to at that tournament. Their 182 pounder went right through my boy at that meet My hat goes off to them!
