parkersburg south, huntington, saint albans, spring valley, woodrow wilson, princeton, point pleasant, winfield, logan, greenbriar west, oak hill, man, lincoln county, pike view, roane county, warren local-ohio, fairland-ohio and chesapeak-ohio are the 18 teams in the snap firness tourney. it starts at 1:00 am.

Saw a post on South's Facebook page that Woodrow Wilson's Tyree Swafford dropped to 220 and beat South's Dalton Fullerton 1-0 at Winfield. Interesting!

According to my niece who kept the book for South, South won the tournament (I don't have the team scores).

Tucker Windland (106), Ian Irizarry (113), Brayden Roberts (120), Zane Hinzman (152), and Louden Haga (285) finished 1st. Mikey Shamblin finished 2nd. Wyatt Linder (120) and Jake Martin (132) finished 3rd, and Julio Lemus (113) and Dalton Fullerton (220) finished 4th.

Not all South varsity wrestlers competed today. I know some were taking the ACT.

When you put the JV into tournaments, the cream rises to the top.

JV cream scares many, many people. Makes the rich, richer and the poor, poorer. From my vantage point, Wood County has broke the bank and most of the state is in a soup line.

With that being known, we need to let the kids that want to wrestle...........................WRESTLE!!!!!!!!!!
