The only reason why Pomeroy and Worley match was even close last time was because Pomeroy was hurt I think Pomeroy beats him 7-1

Stierwalt upsets Wykle

I really don't see those upset in 132 or 138. Simpkins man handled Green in finals at MSAC, but then Green is still getting healthy. I still see Simpkins. Moore will not have that much trouble with 132 weight class. Worley seems to wrestle better as the season goes on, but if he comes straight at Pomeroy I think Pomeroy will win. If he slows the match down some it could be interesting. I don't see Holstion beating Haynes from Ripley unless he keeps the match close till the end. Haynes pinned Hill from Point Thursday so he seems to be hitting his peak at the right time. The 285 will probably go to overtime, which will mean the one that wants it the most and is in better shape should take it.

It would not surprise me at all if South finds a qualifier at 132 and takes 14 to the state tourney, UHS and JM have several qualifiers in the #4 spot in my predictions so I wouldn't set their qualifier numbers in stone. Just took a shot at it for the fun of it.

Last time Moore and Lopez wrestled it went in to OT and Moore spun behind Lopez on a shot

I think South wins easily... That's my prediction.

In reg 1 113 and 170 are going to be good ones to watch.
At 113 2 ranked wrestlers wont make the state tourny.
At 170 i think Nick Johnson wins it, but Lambiotte and Frisco are very good wrestlers.

Nothing would make me happier than T.J. Huffman qualifying at 132, but I don't think we can count out Morgantown's Kirk Moore.

in my opinion I think Hinzman surprises at 152. Just a gut feeling.

1 - South, clinches after semis and send 10 to the finals, qualifies 13.
2 - University, qualifies 10 wrestlers and squeaks by PHS in the consolations.
3 - Parkersburg, qualifies 9 wrestlers but will score better than the Red Hawks at States.
4 - John Marshall, Coach Z has his wrestlers peaking at the right time and qualifies 8.
5 - Morgantown, qualifies 7 for States and shocks everyone by finishing ahead of Wheeling Park.
6 - Wheeling Park, looking for new identity and only qualifies 4 for States.
7 - Preston, tries to overtake Wheeling Park but not enough gas in the tank, qualifies 3.
8 - Brooke, looking towards next years regionals without heavyweights South and PHS, qualifies 2.
