There will be 2 pools of 8. Then cross over for the finals. Doc has posted the schedule. link: http://www.wvmat.com/temp/16wvdpools.pdf

Eight total matches, 3 on Friday and 5 on Saturday.

Pool A - South, Indy, Riverside, Roane, Spring Valley, Capital, Ritchie, PHS Red
Pool B - St. Albans, Williamsburg, Dayton Christian, Ripley, Parkersburg, Lewis County, Wirt County, South Blue

Looking forward to #1 Moore (Roane) vs #2 Harris (Indy) on Friday Night and #2 Donahue (PKB) vs. #1 Crewdson (SA) also on Friday.

South and Indy will pair up Saturday afternoon after lunch (2ish).

Thanks - Brent

Brent what time does wrestling begin on Friday?

How many mats?

Will all of the wrestling take place in one open area or will there be mats scattered throughout the facility? In other words, can a fan sit in one place and see all matches?

Start time is 4 on Friday and 10 Saturday.

4 mats in the fieldhouse, 1 mat (Mat #5) in the aux. gym. I will talk to coach Way about getting a live feed from the aux. gym to the Fieldhouse's Jumbo-tron.

Bearhugger, I am very interested in the Tudor Biscuit World Holiday Tournament. Something about that sounds very appealing to me. When and where is it and do they have 50/50 drawings on the hour? That's funny stuff. Somebody needs to make that one happen. Maybe the Summerville's Duals. Wrestling, biscuits, National Guard and bobsleds is West Virginia's equivalent to the All-American baseball, hotdogs, apple-pie and Chevrolet.

Thanks - Brent

Brent, why don't you reserve Bearhugger a seat in the auxiliary gym near the concessions. ;)

A Tudor's tournament just might inspire me to come out of retirement! Keep us posted!

Live feed to the main gym sounds like an outstanding idea.

These two matches could very well be state tournament finals also..............unless the pill works against us.

It depends on who is running the concession stand. The crew who ran it 2 years ago during the MSAC did not get my vote for "most outstanding concession stand".

However, the gang at last seasons MSAC was championship caliber.

If Tudor's Biscuit World is sponsoring the tournament, there would be no complaints about the concessions.

I also heard the Jumbotron in the Fieldhouse is not working so there will be no live feed.

Concession and hospitality room were both top notch at last year's MSAC... very high standards were established :D
