At a glance, a few regular teams have scheduled elsewhere.

Such a mystery!
What Teams will be there?
Will it be worth my admission fee?

I heard five schools dropped out because the bogus entry fee and admission fee of paying for 3 or 4 sessions in a two day tournament. Its a good tournament don't get me wrong.

The Winners choice has always been worth the price of admission. Especially, day 2..... !! With that being said, I also would like to see the teams attending. Not too much to ask..... :)

Entry fees are bogus? The wsaz raised theirs also. So will you complain about their bogus entry fee also? Plus the Winner's Choice is way better competition than the wsaz!

Winners Choice is tough competition, however WSAZ may be tougher than the State Tourney this year...

Agree, Winners Choice is tough, but WSAZ this year will be insane.

Well your statement shows that you know nothing about wrestling and that you are a "no show" for that tournament. Did you even wrestle?

Sure did, but the only thing i wrestle now is the wife and 12 ounce cans.
The Winners Choice is a great tourny but not as good as the wsaz just look at the schools.
Plus all of the middle schools, its not even close.

Year in and year out its not even close. They're many 1x and multi time state champions whom never won or were even in the finals of the winners choice.

Bearhug: This year I think the WSAZ tournament may be tougher. You have most of the top teams that are in the Winner's Choice tourney and add Parkersburg South, Independence, Huntington, Ripley, Point Pleasant and 8 or 9 out of state teams.

Last season, I went to both the Winner's Choice and the WSAZ. The WSAZ was tougher. The previous year, I would say the Winner's Choice was tougher.

Both are very tough this season. With South, Indy, Ripley, Huntington being at the Z's along with almost all of the top Winner's Choice team, there is no comparison.

With the loss of Ripley, Pt Pleasant, Peters Township, and CD Hylton I believe there is no arguement here. WSAZ takes the cake on toughest tournament in WV. The addition of Calhoun and Spring Valley did keep the Winners Choice almost as tough as usual.
