1st HHH Holiday Classic(Formerly Hornet Holiday)

Good Morning Coaches,

After consideration we have decided to change the name of our tournament from the 28th Annual Hornet Holiday to the 1st Heavy Hitting Hammer Holiday Classic. We wanted to make sure we involved all our partners who are helping to drive this ambitious project this year. This event will be moving from Deep Creek High School to our new location at Churchland High School in Portsmouth, Virginia this year. This allows us to have more space to work with and with that space we are able to expand our tournament. In addition to our varsity bracket, we will now be adding a girls division as well as a junior varsity division.

Varsity, Women's, and Junior Varsity will be held on December 1st-2nd. We are looking to have 8 mats for this event. This event will be on Trackwrestling as well. We will be giving out custom medals, M.O.W. awards, as well as team trophies. We will have a hospitality room for our coaches as well as concessions for our spectators. If you have ever been to a Hornet Holiday, you know we like to make it a fun and electric atmosphere while at the same time showcasing our athletes. We look to do the same this year.
