AA/A 285 Opening Thursday Night

Man oh man! We wrestling fans have been blessed.

Before the regional tournaments, the coaches' poll had the top four AA/A 285s as follows:

Isom
Atkinson
Weaver
Helm

Region 3 action had #2 Atkinson defeat #1 Isom. These two are now 1 and 1. Helm got beat in his region. I do not know the details of the match so I will defer to "on any given day".

Thursday night at the states will serve up Isom vs Helm in the opening round. This is great!

I agree. It will make it more interesting than the usual Regional champs pinnng their oponents in the first peiod and the occasional 4th placer from Region 1 or 4 knocking off a Regional champ. Something to look forward to!
