I know it's early, but want to go ahead and get this on everyone's radar. This year's West Virginia University wrestling camps will take place from June 26-July 2.

Throughout that time period we will have seven different camps to accommodate wrestlers of all skill level and to make sure there is something for what each athlete is trying to accomplish.

The most popular camps is the team camp. Team camp allows wrestlers to receive technique instruction, but also get actual matches in. Last year we had schools from West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Below is the list of all the camps that will run from June 26-July 2. You can register and find more information on each camp here: http://wvucamps.com/camps.cfm

Camps are open to any and all entrants. Age, size, experience level, it doesn't matter. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to myself at kyle.bratke@mail.wvu.edu or Cliff Moore at clifford.moore@mail.wvu.edu. Hope to see a lot of you training in Morgantown this summer.

Thank you for posting early. Happy the dates work out so wrestlers don’t have to choose between going to wvu camp and going to Fargo. There’s much talk about strengthening our RTC, will these camps work on Freestyle? Greco? Or all Folkstyle?

These camps will focus on folkstyle, but we are working on ways that we can help Team West Virginia prepare for Fargo or any other freestyle and Greco competitions.

Just wanted to bump this to the top.

We just had a team from Delaware register and is bringing 27 wrestlers. No matter which camp you choose, this is a great way to get better, get matches in, and work with the WVU coaching staff and wrestlers. Both Killian Cardinale and Peyton Hall will be in attendance, and three-time NCAA champion Greg Jones will likely be working some session as well.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask myself at kyle.bratke@mail.wvu.edu or Cliff Moore at clifford.moore@mail.wvu.edu.
