However, if none of the football players are positive for Covid 19, they still cannot play. Is this true?
True
During regular season
County is Green or Yellow sports can go on as normal
County is Gold teams from that county can only play schools from other counties that are also gold
County is Orange Games for those teams stop, teams can have conditioning only (Shorter practice, no sport equipment involved) (School goes online for all)
County is Red All sports and school activities stop.
During Post season
County is Green or Yellow sports can go on as normal
County is Gold sports can go on as normal
County is Orange school goes online. moderate to high risk sports (Football, Soccer, Volleyball) teams from that county can not participate. Low Risk Sports (Golf, Cross Country and Cheer) If all team members test and test negative they are allowed to participate.
County is Red All sports and school activities stop. (Supposedly)
Wrestling, Basketball would both be considered High Risk and would follow the same rules as football. I believe Swimming may be allowed to test, but not sure.
