PHS BIG REDS MISSING WRESTLERS

The Big Reds are missing some wrestlers. Stephen Carder, Matthew Fox, Hunter Acerman and Timothy Nay have not competed in any of the Big Red matches. All of these guys placed last year. Are they hurt or sick ? Also I noticed Zachary Wilson was on their roster. Last year he was on the South B team and won about 20 matches. He was one of the best B team wrestlers. He also has not wrestled yet. I assume Acerman will go 120 or 126. I heard Carder was going 145. I figure Fox will go 152 or 160 and Nay 160 or 182. If Wilson could get in the starting line up at 126 and county champ Michael Owen at 152 or 160 that would be a very solid line up for the Big Reds. That line up would be; 106-Westfall, 113-Donahue, 120-Acerman, 126-Wilson, 132-Moler, 138-Best, 145-Carder, 152-Owen, 160-Fox, 170-King, 182-Nay, 195-Wade, 220-Blevins and 285-Cooper.

Agree to disagree. Where’s Braxton Byrd?

Hunter will be back soon. I believe Nay wrestled a JV match in Kingsport. Carder was taking the ACTs this past weekend per another post. Fox was still rehabbing last I heard. Wilson should make it into the lineup he just started practice within the last week or so. I’m sure the coach will chime in and iron out the questions though. I’d think by January they will have their lineup nailed down and all their starters back.
