Re: new weight classes
Does this go into effect in 2022-2023 or 2023-2024
Re: new weight classes
I believe that it will be implemented this upcoming season.

Re: new weight classes
Well, if this comes to fruition, I feel it makes South’s distribution of wrestlers more difficult. That being said I am totally against it.

Re: new weight classes
Are you sure that 170 isnt supposed to be 175? 170 to 190 is a huge gap.
Re: new weight classes
Yes, it should be 175. That is what Ohio did last year and WV is intending to use those same weights.

new weight classes
We will be using the following weight classes for the 2022-2023 season:
106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285.
106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285.
Re: new weight classes
Don’t understand a five pound jump from 165-170 then it goes to 190lbs.
Seems like they make something harder than it needs to be.
