Morgantown Madness

Postby Bearhugger » Wed Dec 18, 2019 1:27 pm

Big weekend of wrestling in Morgantown December 21st and 22nd.

Saturday is the Superior Photo Tournament at University High School. Sunday, WVU is having a quad. This is/WAS a great opportunity for high school teams to compete Saturday and then watch WVU on Sunday.

If University High School and WVU can coordinate this again next season and somebody hypes both events together, the Superior Photo could grow big time and WVU could showcase their program bigly.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Not wanting to put a negative spin on what sounds like a neat idea, however I believe most (if not all) programs don't have the funds to house their entire team an extra night, along with coaches, and the costs of having the bus driver and bus for an extra 24 hours. I suppose parents and their wrestler could stay, again if they had the time and money to do so. I'm guessing those that have the inclination to do so probably already are.

Where there is a will, there is a way. Where there is red tape, there is red tape.
