2019 Appalachian Fasteners Invitational

Shady Spring High School will be hosting the 2019 Appalachian Fasteners Invitational on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Shady Spring High School Gymnasiums. Weigh-ins will be from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, the seeding meeting from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, and wrestling will begin at 9:00 AM. Rosters including records, career records, previous state and regional placements, and head to head results will be due Tuesday 1/22/18 by 9:00 PM for pre-seeding. JV will be permitted at no charge if there are openings. Wrestling will be done on 3-4 mats in two gyms. Only short breaks to allow the officials and coaches to eat will be taken. In 2018 the finals were completed and all teams were on their way home by 6 PM.
The entry fee is $175.00 with a check required at weigh in made payable to: Shady Spring High School Wrestling. This will be a double elimination 16 wrestler bracket format. A hospitality room will be provided and affordable concessions will also be available.
Trophies will be awarded for: Individual First, Second, and Third, First and Second Place Team, and Outstanding Wrestler.
