Teams Attending

It would be nice if the "hosting" team would take a few minutes and share who the "attending" teams are for their event.

National Guard Duals..............who is coming?

WSAZ.................who is coming??

Winner's Choice.............who is coming???

Cameron Tournament.........................who is coming????

Williamstown Tournament....................is anybody still coming?????

Last season I asked a couple of times what teams were attending a particular tournament. I asked 2-3 times. No response. All of us were left in the dark. HOWEVER, it was brought up at the coaches meeting on tournament day that they didn't announce who the attending teams were going to be because "Bearhugger asked". This was shared to me by a coach who was in the room.

It's tough to be able to determine the best in each weight class, tough to figure out the top ten teams or so when these results are not displayed. It's not that hard to do so.

How do you draw interest to your event if the teams attending are not listed and any promotions for your event are not done?

I have a team list for NGD but am not sure how accurate it is. Indy B usually attends and they are not on my list, so it may not be a complete list.

The Cameron Tournament is a one day tourney. Cafeteria/concessions are available and good food by the Boosters/parents. Wrestling typically starts about 10AM. At least so in the past and the tournament is usually finished around 6-7PM. A very good tournament with some excellent talent.

Johnson Central was brutally good a few years ago. In particular they had a 170 that was a high level, national caliber wrestler, as well as a few others that had placed at national tournaments. I believe they were KY state champions.

I'd imagine they try to "seed" them. 6 pools of 6.
2nd day, pool winners are in a pool, runner-ups are in a pool, etc.
Everyone places 1-36.
Looks a few teams short this year.
