AA 126/132 Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

Postby Bearhugger » Sun Dec 03, 2017 9:39 pm

A lot can happen but here is what the dashboard says as of today:

2x state champ and 3x finalist Brock Whorton is at 126 on an East Fairmont team that has a full roster ready to challenge for some team titles. Flint is 132.

Preliminary reports indicate that Weir's returning state champion Caleb Rea will be at 132.

Returning state champion Liam Lusher of Independence was at 126 at Super 32 and wrestled 132 this past weekend.

Returning state champion Peyton Hall of Oak Glen was also at 126 at Super 32 and wrestled 132 this past weekend.

2x finalist (1x champion) George Smith of Point Pleasant was also 126 at Super 32 and I am not sure what weight he was this weekend.

Cut down to 120 and you have a well fed Laya of East Fairmont. Go up to 138 and there might not be a returning champion, but there is a pack of 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners that are ready to go out on top.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

Update:

Lusher/Indy and Whorton/EF had their first meeting at 126lbs on December 21st with Whorton winning a 2-1 decision.

Hall/Oak Glen has settled in at 132lbs.

All indications have Rea/Weir at 132lbs.

Returning 132lbs state champion Hunter Taylor is back in limited action and lost an 8-6 decision to Flint/East Fairmont on December 21st.

Returning runner up Spaulding/Ritchie County is at 126lbs.

Point Pleasant's 2x finalist Smith has been sidelined. I have seen him listed at 126 and 120.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
