I wonder if there should be an amendment to the rule regarding a wrestler wrestling only 5 matches per day. If there was a slight change to that rule, it would perhaps make many tournament better. What if they change it so that a wrestler may wrestle a 6th match, ONLY if is a situation where a wrestler could lose in the 1st round and come back to the consolation finals the same day. This may not happen very often because most 1st round losers usually don't make it back through the consolation brackets all the way to the consolation finals. It could happen in this year's postponed matches from states. As the rule stands now, it must be planed for 2 days. With the situation created at the state tournament this year it could save a lot of parent and fans
a lot of money and time off work to attend a 2 day tournament. If installed, it could be completed in 1 day! Just a thought !

We have many situations these days where some matches only last 30 seconds or less. Five matches a day could equal 30 minutes on the mat (5 matches X 6 minutes). Five matches could also be much shorter or longer due to quick pins and overtimes.
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!
