Taking Care of Regional Business

Postby Bearhugger » Tue Feb 21, 2017 1:28 am

These guys are the efficiency experts of wrestling. They know how to maximize their team points and get off the mat as fast as possible to conserve energy and avoid injury. The following grapplers pinned 100% of their regional opponents and they mean business:

AAA

Region 1
113 Staud/University = 2
138 Carmen/John Marshall = 2
160 Nash/Wheeling Park = 3
285 Boggs/Buck Up = 2

Region 2
113 Miller/Musselman = 2
120 Felegie/Washington = 2
138 Odom/Hampshire = 2
160 Pine/Washington = 3
182 Stanley/Hampshire = 3
195 Swisher/Hampshire = 2

Region 3
132 Escobedo/Greenbrier East = 2
145 Humphreys/St. Albans = 2
160 Milam/St. Albans = 2
182 Thomas/Greenbrier East = 2
220 Pomeroy/Riverside = 2

Region 4
There were zero wrestlers who pinned 100% of their opponents.

AA/A

Region 1
220 Hartman/Petersburg = 3
285 Frazier/Fairmont Senior = 3

Region 2
285 Ware/Grafton = 3

Region 3
106 Brake/Nicholas County = 2
170 Daniels/Indy = 4
182 Hart/Indy = 3
220 Adams/Indy = 4
285 Carey/Hoover = 3

Region 4
132 Ward/Winfield = 3
145 Moore/Wirt = 3

I wonder who can keep this streak alive and pin 100% of their regional and state tournament opponents???????

Interesting note:
AAA Region 2 - 138 lbs
Not a single match in the entire bracket lasted a full minute.
