Postby Bearhugger » Sun Feb 19, 2017 6:25 pm

Here are the results for AAA 113 along with each wrestler's corresponding ranking (for fun).

4th: Cam Lancaster, Brooke 9 8- 18 Not ranked in the top 10

5th: Izac Babiczuk, John Marshall 9 15- 18 Not ranked in the top 10

Regions 2 and 3 only had one ranked wrestler each. In addition, both of these regions only had four wrestlers, thus all participants automatically qualified before the action began.

At region 4, we had 6 out of 7 wrestlers ranked. Here is what happened:

Opening round, Harper beat Nida and Viars beat Ackerman. Both winners lost to higher ranked Irizarry and Sinclair.

In the consolation round, Nida beat Viars and Ackerman beat Harper. The competition was fierce. Two ranked and proven wrestlers did not qualify. The one saving grace is that these two warriors are freshmen. They are going onto my radar now.

Good luck to all. NO MORE DANG INJURIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy smokes. Braxton Amos works out with a landmine now!!!!!!

The scores show how close this class was. I stated earlier in the week that every wrestler in this class could beat each other. Then Viars beat Alderman proving the point. This hit Harper hard because he then had to wrestle Irizhary and Alderman, to which he lost before beating Viars, putting him in the fifth spot below Nida which he beat. Oh well that's the breaks. Like said above at least he's just a Freshman.
