Congratulations to former West Virginia wrestler, Chip Sturek. He won the 170lbs class 5A state title in Virginia. Glad to see he continued his wrestling career.

Chip pinned his way through District, Regional and the State tournament!

A state championship is an impressive feat alone, but pinning your way through the entirety of it is something. Would of loved to see him scarp in Wv! I bet that mix up the classes a bit.

Chip was really good as a Freshman for South. Love to watch him hook a cradle up. He was also ranked #1 in VA at 170 his Junior year and came down with mono and missed the state tournament. Really glad to see him bounce back and win it all. Great kid, great family!
